Sometimes, it really gets difficult to understand; what’s going on in our lives. Everything seems to be on a wrong track. Suddenly you start questioning your mere existence and purpose for this birth. All these questions arise when faced with certain unfavourable circumstances in life. You may not have triggered these circumstances but sometimes, it is a result of our expectations from life.
Our need, wants, wishes and expectations are a function of our many years of experience in life. We interact with many resources in the form of our family, our friends, books, our education, our teachers. Though some of these experiences don’t ink your mind but remain somewhere in the subconscious, whereas some of these experiences influence our thoughts and beliefs to an extent that we immediately accept these in our life and want to inculcate.
Some of these beliefs and thoughts turn into ambitions, some in aspirations and some in expectations. Some of these beliefs & thoughts cause fear, happiness and sadness and every time we face these situations, we stereotype our reaction. In fact, we need to deal with every situation, as if; it’s new and shall react accordingly.
It’s our reaction which induces feelings; positive or negative though depends upon the nature of reaction. So, the fundamental question is; can the reaction be controlled?
Reaction can be controlled to some extent through awareness and guided response to certain situations. But, actions are equally important. Choose your actions and we shall have the reaction in our control. Actions can lead to happiness or sadness; fear or fearlessness; success or failure; achievement or forfeit.
